Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) is a temporary food benefit available to school-aged children who received free or reduced-price meals during the school year. It also includes children 5 and younger (as of Sept. 1, 2021) who are eligible for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) or Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (Tribal TANF) assistance. Summer P-EBT provides $435 per eligible child to families to help purchase food during the summer months.
