Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) for 5 and Younger is a temporary food benefit available to eligible Minnesota families. These benefits will be issued to existing Minnesota EBT cards.
All scheduled school-based, 5 and younger and Summer P-EBT benefits have been issued and the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT 2) for the 2020-2021 school year is closed. The Department of Human Services will no longer look back for missed payments.
No decision has been made about P-EBT for child care/children 5 years and younger.
Minnesota’s P-EBT plan for school aged children for the 2021-2022 school year has been approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
