The Minnesota Department of Human Services received federal approval today on a waiver that will further the state’s commitment to helping Minnesotans with behavioral health and substance use disorder issues.
“We are on a journey to improve Minnesotans' access to a broader range of high quality behavioral health services,” said Minnesota Human Services Commissioner Tony Lourey. “Today’s federal waiver approval is the next step to making it easier for people to get the care they need sooner and at a better value to the state. It will allow us to continue our nation leading efforts to reform behavioral health services.”
