Hi! I’m Lauren Hunter, diversity recruiter at DHS. I’m excited that my role allows me to do what I am most passionate about: Connect diverse talent with extraordinary career opportunities.
Prior to joining DHS, I worked in talent acquisition for a variety of industries including retail, manufacturing, health care and nonprofit. My experience includes full cycle recruitment, sourcing, and partnering with hiring leaders to determine the most effective, yet creative methods to fill open vacancies.
An Indiana native, I earned a bachelor of arts from Indiana University-Bloomington (Go Hoosiers!) and a master’s degree in business, with a focus in HR management from Indiana Wesleyan University. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, trying new restaurants and watching a good crime show. I also enjoy mentoring at-risk youth and volunteering in the community.
