Greetings! My name is Caroline Dillon and I’ve worked at DHS since July 2006. I started out in an accounting position, but am much better with people than numbers, so when a recruiting position opened up I jumped at the opportunity. Since joining the Recruitment Team in February 2009, my focus has been finding top-notch health care and mental health professionals to serve patients in our Direct Care and Treatment programs around the state. My favorite part of the job is matching great candidates with rewarding career opportunities, because I know they will do an outstanding job of supporting the individuals in our care.
Born and raised here in the Twin Cities, I have lived in Minnesota my whole life – with the exception of earning my bachelor’s degree in business management at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. It’s only 15 minutes from the state border, so I don’t think that really counts. While I love to travel and have been blessed with opportunities to visit Australia, Europe and South America, I am always glad to come home to Minnesota and have no desire to live anywhere else. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing with my dog, golfing, fishing, reading, singing, trivia and generally being a nerd.
