This policy explains the type of data collected by use of the Google Play Action for the Radio Talking Book network. State Services for the Blind collects and stores the following information through this Action:
- Whether you are blind or print impaired, so that the Action can recognize you the next time you use it;
- The number of users listening, both generally, and by a specific time period;
- Server and HTTP logs;
- Data transmitted by the Actions on Google API to State Services for the Blind; and
The information that you provide will be used in accordance with the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, and any applicable law. Data on individuals who use this action is classified as private under the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act. Minn. Stat. 116J.401, subd. 3. The data collected will only be used to maintain the Radio Talking Book network; troubleshoot issues; identify how many people are using the Action; and assess the popularity of certain features so that we can continue to improve the Action.
This data will be shared only with State Services for the Blind Staff who have a need to know the information, entities that assist State Services for the Blind with the Radio Talking Book Network, or as otherwise required by law.
