What is your connection with SSB?
I am the Executive Director of Trillium Works, Inc. that is an Employment Provider for SSB. We work with people to help them find employment that they want.
Have any pets?
We have an amazing Chocolate Lab named Bruce.
What do you do for fun outside of work?
I’m a runner and love getting out to run, especially on trails in Duluth. I have run seven marathons and three 50k’s.
Favorite travel destination(s)?
My wife and I have gone on three big trips out of the country that were all great. Ireland, Italy (where we got engaged) and Peru (our honeymoon).
Who or what inspires you?
I work with so many great people every day. I’m inspired by everyone in so many ways. I love seeing people set and accomplish their goals.
Any interesting jobs you’ve had throughout your career?
I taught English to pre-school kids in Japan.
Something about you that most people don’t know?
I played college baseball for four years for the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
Favorite food or restaurant?
Oh man I love all food! Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Indian are all way up there for me.
What book is on your nightstand?
I love to read; the two books I’m reading right now are: Run Gently Out There: Trials, Trails, and Tribulations of Running Ultramarathons by John Morelock and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling
Something you’re looking forward to?
My wife and I welcomed identical twin daughters this summer, Sydney and Remi. They are our first children and they are our everything. I am really looking forward to their very first Christmas and all of the other firsts that are coming.
