Transportation Economic Development (TED) Program

The Transportation Economic Development Program (TED) is a competitive grant program available to communities for highway improvement and public infrastructure projects that create jobs and support economic development.

A collaboration between DEED and the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), the program provides up to 70 percent of the costs for trunk highway interchanges and other improvements (which is defined as the accepted bid of the construction cost of the project) or the state's share as determined by MnDOT's cost participation policy, whichever is less.
