Find out about accessibility

The Minnesota State Fair has a web page with accessibility information. The information includes:

  • Events with American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters scheduled
  • Contact information to use for additional requests. This depends on interpreter availability.
  • Electric mobility scooters, strollers, wagons, and wheelchairs available for rent
  • Accessible parking (as well as free Park & Ride lots)
  • A printable accessibility guide (PDF), which includes information on borrowing assistive listening devices during Grandstand shows

Find your government agency

  • The Minnesota Board of Aging will be in the Education Building, southeast corner
    Pick up copies of MNCDHH's Hearing Loss Matters DVD, a documentary about age-related hearing loss, here.
  • The Minnesota Secretary of State will be in the Grandstand, lower level, south center section
    Thank them for their partnership in providing accessible voter information to our community. Voter registration cards will also be available at their booth.
  • The Minnesota State Council on Disability will be in the Education Building, north aisle
    Pick up copies of the Closed Captioning Campaign materials and use them to persuade businesses and restaurants to keep their closed captions turned on at all times. You can also pick up MNCDHH's brochures here.
  • The State of Minnesota - Careers will be in the Education Building, south aisle
    Ask for information about the Connect 700 program if you are a person with a disability and you are interested in becoming a state employee.

Find your legislator

  • The Minnesota House of Representatives will be in the Education Building, east wall
  • The Minnesota Senate will be in the Education Building, east wall
  • Senator Al Franken's team will be at the west side of Underwood St. between Judson & Carnes Avenues
  • Senator Amy Klobuchar's team will be at the north side of Judson Avenue between Nelson & Underwood Streets.

Find your political party

  • The Green Party of Minnesota will be in the Grandstand, upper level, south wall
  • The Independence Party of Minnesota will be at the south side of Dan Patch Ave. between Nelson & Underwood Streets
  • The Libertarian Party of Minnesota will be at the west side of Nelson St. between Carnes & Judson Avenues
  • The Minnesota Democratic Farmer Labor Party will be at the northeast corner of Dan Patch Ave. & Cooper Street
  • The Republican Party of Minnesota will be at the south side of Carnes Ave. between Nelson & Underwood Streets
