Goal #6: Increased Organizational Capacity Transcript

MNCDHH Goal #6: Increased Organizational Capacity

(Signed by Jason Valentine, Commission Member)

To accomplish our 5 year goals we must increase organizational capacity.

What does organizational capacity mean? We want to increase the ability of our staff, our commission to have a bigger impact on legislators, on policies, on education, and on the community that increases organizational capacity and in turn increase effectiveness in that regard.

One way to increase capacity is to expand, orient and train the staff as well as the consultants who are needed statewide to support our organization and strategic goals. We will also provide consistent, accurate and timely information on our Commission activities and progress through a communication plan that uses face to face communication, our website, social media, and other forms of technology.

Finally, we will support and maintain an organizational infrastructure to gather and analyze data, develop timely reports, provide financial statements, and inform policy makers and stakeholders within our community and all voters.

Having been informed of the constituency's needs, we want to be sure to share the outcomes of programs and services provided by the Commission.
