To Provide Public Comment During an Upcoming Meeting

Members of the public who would like to comment must submit this form at least three business days prior to the next meeting.

Comments are limited to topics within the scope of the Executive Board’s authority and may be limited at the discretion of the Board Chair.

Committee staff review submissions for completeness and relevance. Staff send a confirmation email to individuals who request to comment no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting date and time with the status of their comment request. For commenters scheduled to speak, the email will include the estimated speaking time, instructions for in-person or virtual participation, and the public comment rules and expectations.

Confirmed commenters must check in with meeting staff (in person or virtually) 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the meeting. To check in, commenters attending in person should sign in on the Public Comment registration form found near the room entrance. Speakers attending remotely should email executiveboard.publiccomment.dct@state.mn.us to identify themselves to the virtual meeting host and receive further instructions. Failure to check in may result in forfeiture of the speaking slot, at staff discretion.

Public Comment Rules and Expectations

• Commenters must adhere to the allotted three minutes. 
• Commenters must address the Board respectfully. Personal attacks, profanity, or disruptive behavior are not permitted.
• Presentations or other materials are not allowed. Oral comments only.
• Comments must not contain any personal health information (PHI) or personally identifiable information (PII) about other individuals.

The Board Chair or meeting staff may issue a warning or end a speaker’s comment if rules are violated.
