Recommendation: High Risk - Limit Risk
WARNING: THIS SCREENING TOOL IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE GUIDANCE REGARDING WHETHER A PERSON SHOULD BE TESTED FOR COVID-19. THIS TOOL IS NOT INTENDED TO BE USED AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR MEDICAL ADVICE AND SHOULD NOT DISSUADE YOU FROM SEEKING MEDICAL ATTENTION IF YOU ARE IN NEED OF MEDICAL TREATMENT. IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY PLEASE CALL 911 AND NOTIFY THE OPERATOR THAT YOU HAVE OR THINK YOU MIGHT HAVE COVID-19.
It is not likely you need to be tested for COVID-19 at this time, but, since you are an older adult, pregnant, or a person who has an underlying medical chronic medical condition, you may be at higher risk if you do not begin to limit exposure. It is extremely important that you practice the precautions ordered by the Minnesota Department of Health.
Please take these steps IMMEDIATELY:
- Practice self-isolation and social distancing. Stay home!
- Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds with soap and water.
- Regularly disinfect commonly touched areas.
- If you have an emergency or life-threatening problem, call 911.
If something changes, please use this tool again or call the Minnesota Helpline at 651-297-1304 or 1-800-657-3504.
