Project Summary

Blazing Star Wind Farm, LLC has filed a Site Permit Application to construct and operate a Large Wind Energy Conversion System (LWECS) in Lincoln County, Minnesota. The proposed Blazing Star Wind Farm will generate up to 200 MWs, and consist of between 57 and 100 wind turbines. Additionally, the Site Permit Application also addresses potential impacts of project related infrastructure, including, access roads, collection and communication lines, operation and maintenance facility, substation facility, interconnection facility, meteorological towers, SoDAR unit, LiDAR unit, aboveground electrical feeder line, staging/laydown area, and a temporary batch plant.
