Project Summary

Marshall Solar, LLC proposes to construct a 62.25 megawatt (MW) solar energy facility in Lyon County.  The proposed site is approximately 515 acres of agricultural land located in Stanley Township, approximately four miles east of Marshall.  The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission issued a site permit for the project in May 2016 and construction on the project began in the summer of 2016.  Marshall Solar anticipates the project will become operational in late 2016.
