Project Summary

The proposed Project would install six new pumping stations and upgrade two others in order to increase the pumping capacity of the 305 mile-long (Clearbrook-Rosemount) MPL Line 4 from 165,000 to 350,000  barrels per day.

"As part of the evaluation of the proposed project, the Commission requests that the Department’s Energy Environmental Review and Analysis (EERA) unit conduct an environmental review to analyze the potential effects of the proposed project, and alternatives identified in the application, on the natural and socioeconomic environment. The Commission requests that the EERA submit a report of its analysis into the record prior to the contested case hearings." (Commission Order, October 17, 2014)
