20% Biodiesel Blend (B20) Standard
Pursuant to Minnesota Statute 239.77, the legislature established that starting May 1, 2018, all No. 2 diesel fuel sold for use in combustion engines must contain a minimum of 20 percent biodiesel (B20) until September 30. The Minnesota Department of Agriculture offers a brochure titled “Minnesota B20 Handling Guide”.
