Heidi Holmes, of Mankato, is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She holds a Master of Social Work Degree from Augsburg University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a graduate certificate in Master of Professional Studies in Addictions Counseling from University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services. Heidi is employed through the State of Minnesota as a Clinical Therapist III at Community Addiction Recovery Enterprises (CARE) in St. Peter. Prior to joining CARE-St. Peter in 2018, Heidi worked at the Minnesota Security Hospital/Forensics as a security counselor starting in 2005. Heidi is committed to serving individuals with complex mental health and substance use disorders and addressing the effects of stigma on this population. Heidi was appointed to the board as a Master Level Social Worker effective June 30, 2021 and is serving her first four-year term ending on January 6, 2025.
