Christopher Anderson, Public Member

Christopher W. Anderson of Elbow Lake, is a mental health counselor in private practice in Grant County. In addition, Anderson provides mental health counseling in several jails within Minnesota. He is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Minnesota as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts. He holds a Master of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an Area of Emphasis in Forensic and Correctional Counseling, and With a Concentration in Military and Veterans Psychology from William James College in Newton, MA and Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Fisher College in Boston, MA. Additionally, Anderson served in the United States Marine Corps for over 8 years and was medically retired in 2012. Effective June 30, 2021, Anderson was appointed as a Public Member to the Minnesota Board of Social Work and is serving his first term which ends January 6, 2025. Anderson is additionally, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor professional board on the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. Anderson is elected as the Vice Chair of the Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy beginning January 1, 2024.
