Dr. Cannon grew up in Duluth, MN attending UMD prior to dental school at the University of MN. He has practiced dentistry in downtown St. Paul for over forty years, joining the St. Paul Dental Center In January 2023. Dr. Cannon has remained active in organized dentistry for most of his career, serving as President of the St. Paul District Dental Society and President of the Minnesota Dental Association. He also served over 10 years on the Advisory Committee of the Health Professionals Services Program. He has received the President’s Award from the Minnesota Dental Association and the Prize for Journalism from the American College of Dentists. Dr. Cannon was recently appointed by Governor Walz to serve on the Minnesota Board of Dentistry. He resides in Stillwater with his wife Sherri.
