    Fingerprints must be submitted to the Criminal Background Check Program (CBCP) on a fingerprint card. CBCP staff continue to telework part time. The office is staffed daily; however, the office may not be staffed during all business hours. We recommend sending fingerprints and forms by USPS or courier (e.g., UPS, FedEx) rather than bringing them to the office in person.

    When you call or email the office, please provide a clear and detailed message so we may respond as quickly as possible. Due to the high volume of calls and emails received, responses are usually sent by email to the address provided on your board application. If you have not received a message within two business days, check your spam and junk folders before making a follow-up contact.

    The CBCP cannot send fingerprint cards to anyone who does not have an active CBC request from the licensing board. If you have not received the introductory CBC email, we have probably not received a request from the board.

    If you have not received the introductory email, do not contact the CBCP office until you have done the following:

    • Confirm that your application fees have been received and processed by the board
    • Confirm your email address with the board
    • Check your spam and/or junk folders for the introductory email
