Pat Schommer is serving her second term on the Minnesota Board on Aging. She is the Board secretary and serves on the MBA Executive and the Program Operations Committees. Pat retired from the University of Minnesota, where she served the Rural Physician Program in the Medical School, and the federally funded Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) demonstration project of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services with the Center on Aging. She was a nursing home administrator for more than twenty-five years. Pat currently serves on the board for the Center for Health Administration and Aging Excellence and is a past board member for the Minnesota Network of Hospice and Palliative Care, ACT on Alzheimer's and the Minnesota Gerontological Society.
