Ann Bussey was appointed to the Minnesota Board on Aging in 2020. She is a retired health care administrator from a large, rural, multi-state health system with 40 years of experience in clinical operations, professional practice, research, education, grants management and rural health. In post-retirement, Ann served as a member of the College of Saint Scholastica Rural Health MBA Advisory Board and also taught as an adjunct in the program. She currently serves as a consumer member of the MN Rural Health Advisory Committee, most recently as chair elect for 2020-2021. Ann is now a volunteer community facilitator on the Iron Range, advocating for older adults and the opportunity to live and grow old in an age-friendly environment. She is a founding member of the Fairview Range Community Healthy Aging Committee and serves on multiple community boards and health committees.
