Temporary place to stay for homeless youth who have run away or are at risk in their homes

The Passageways Shelter and Housing Program (https://thelinkmn.org/what-we-do/sexually-exploited-youth/passageways) provides emergency shelter beds for youth who have been victims of sex trafficking.
The program is inclusive of all gender identities and the housing program can also serve parenting youth with one child.
The program also provides many on-site services specific to sexual exploitation that include:

* A survivor mentor program

Special Transit Ride is a dial-a-ride curb to curb transportation service. It is designed for people with disabilities who cannot access the regular route buses.
It operates within 3/4 of a mile of the Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) regular routes in the City of Superior and within the city boundaries of Duluth and Proctor. Riders may also transfer or be asked to transfer between Special Transit Ride and the DTA regular route where there is accessible service.
Please call a day before a ride is needed.
Travel training is available to use the fixed-route transit.

DESCRIPTION:
Program that provides a free or low cost meal to people in need
MORE INFORMATION
A free lunch or hot evening meal served at several locations year round. These sites are currently operating as takeaway service only.
Community meal sites welcome anyone in need, and are located at churches, schools, and community centers.
Guests at these sites receive any number of meals needed for their household.
Social service referrals and information is available, and many dining sites are partnered with local groups that routinely offer non-food items like personal hygiene products, coats, mittens, socks and more.

CHUM - Duluth - Emergency Shelter Center
Provides a temporary place to stay for people that do not have housing
DESCRIPTION:
Offers temporary shelter for those who are homeless or need a place to stay. Space may be available on-site, or may be provided at other nearby locations.
MORE INFORMATION
The Congregate Shelter provides dormitory-style shelter for single adults. The Family Shelter offers small apartments to a maximum of six families at a time.
Length of stay in either shelter is dependent upon the needs and cooperation of the guest. Each shelter resident is required to meet regularly with a Housing Advocate to work toward a resolution of their housing situation.
There are no requirements to remain sober during their stay. Guests are required to remain cordial and kind when in the Chum Center
