Helps manage the income and financial gifts that improve the quality of life for people with disabilities while at the same time maintaining public benefits.
Lutheran Social Service (LSS) administers two forms of pooled trusts depending on the funding source:
* Special Needs - Self-Funded Trust
* Supplemental Needs Trust - Third Party Funded Trust
Both preserve funds for people with disabilities or identified needs while protecting eligibility for public benefits, such as Medicaid or Social Security Income.
