MORE INFORMATION Hot meals are delivered daily Monday - Friday with frozen meals on the weekends and holidays for those 60 years of age or older, unable to drive, homebound by reason of illness or disability and unable to prepare their own meals. Nutritious frozen meals are available to seniors living in rural areas outside of the local Meals on Wheels delivery area. Ten or fourteen meal packs are delivered in the counties of Aitkin, Itasca, Lake and St. Louis County. They also ask that "homebound" patrons let them know if they will not be home. This courtesy reduces food waste. If you are not going to be home for your delivered meal, please cancel your meals. The Groceries-to-Go Program provides a grocery service to homebound older adults unable to manage grocery shopping.

MORE INFORMATION Optage Meals offers freshly made home delivered meals designed for older adults, as well as adults with disabilities. Optage offers the ability for clients to simplify their meal preparation and stay independent in their own homes. Clients have the option of a weekly delivery of ready-to-heat meals chosen from over 60 entree choices along with a supportive check-in upon delivery. Hot meal volunteers may offer to heat meals and offer social and physical support. Ready-to-heat meals are available for delivery in the Twin Cities Metro area and Wright County.

MORE INFORMATION Catholic Charities Meals on Wheels Program delivers nutritious noon-hour meals to the homes of at-risk, homebound, ill, and vulnerable persons. If you are you recovering from a major surgery, cancer treatment or just in need of rehabilitation time due to an injury or illness, then Eat Well Get Well program can help. Nutritious meals are provided by the Catholic Charities Senior Dining Meals on Wheels Program. Cost of this service is based on an individual assessment and is offered in designated areas. Catholic Charities can also deliver full-price meals to those under age 60 who need service due to an illness or injury.
