Call a referral counselor at (612) 752-6699 to see if a volunteer attorney is scheduled to be at the courthouse on the day of your initial hearing.
Fees
There are no fees for general information or advice. There is no fee for advice or information on day of arraignment. The attorney may be retained for a fee.

Volunteer attorneys provide free information daily in Hennepin County Misdemeanor Courts. This service is provided for people charged with misdemeanor crimes in Hennepin County courts.
The attorney is available to any individual scheduled for arraignment that day to answer questions about how the courts work, about legal rights, and about other substantive law matter of concern.
Persons wishing to retain legal services may do so. All fees are negotiated between attorney and client.
