DESCRIPTION: Food support is provided through free or low cost food that is distributed in boxes or bags to eligible people. This emergency food is typically offered on a specific date or a specific time. MORE INFORMATION Provides food packages to families looking to stretch their food budget and save money on groceries Each month, participants pay anywhere from $10 to $30 and receive groceries at up to 40% off retail prices. The food packages include fresh fruits and vegetables and/or frozen meat. Holiday Packs, available in November and December, contain most of the fixings for a holiday meal, including a turkey in November and a ham in December.
