Eligibility

The PRIDE Transitions Program is a Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose School District 877 secondary special education program for students who:
  • Are 18 - 22
  • Have a disability
  • Have transition needs identified on their Individualized Education Program (IEP)
  • Have not received a diploma

Students are identified for participation by educators.

Coordinated activities are provided to students to teach the knowledge and skills needed for post-school activities. This can include such things as employment, further education and training, community experiences or living independently. MORE INFORMATION PRIDE Transitions is a specially designed instructional program for students with disabilities that provides a transition from the high school environment to the community or post secondary education.
  • Students access community resources as they focus on developing skills to meet education, training, employment and independent living goals.
