Eligibility
Services are for women age 16 and older who are pregnant.
- The program can also support those already in active recovery to reduce the risk of relapse during pregnancy.

To make a report involving a pregnant woman:
- Woman at least 16 years old, call (612) 879-3609
- Woman younger than 16 or whose pregnancy is beyond 34 weeks, call (612) 348-3552

Project Chemical Health Intervention, Linkage and Development (CHILD) provides outreach, assessment, referral and case management support to pregnant women who are reported to Hennepin County Child Protection because of drug or alcohol abuse including marijuana and/or prescription drugs not prescribed.
- Project CHILD collaborates with many county and community based resources for services.
- Substance use assessments, treatment services, case management and counseling for up to 6 months after delivery
- Prenatal care referrals
- Helps with basic needs including transportation
- Peer recovery support
- Prenatal and postnatal support groups
