Eligibility
The person is currently addicted to an opioid. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Opiates are your primary drug
  • Addicted to opiates for at least 12 consecutive months
And/or:
  • Currently pregnant
  • Recently released from prison or incarceration and in jeopardy of relapse
  • Previously treated clients up to 2 years after discharge
  • Previously treated clients that are at risk for relapse
  • Recently released from a chronic care facility and are at risk for relapse

Opioid Use Disorder is an addiction to substances such as heroin, fentanyl, oxycodone or morphine. Detoxification and recovery methods can vary, but often involve stabilization via prescription medication, counseling, and/or behavioral therapy. There are a large number of regulatory requirements governing Opioid Treatment Programs in Minnesota. It is a program licensed under Minnesota Statute Chapter 245G and/or registered with The Division of Pharmacologic Therapies portion of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). They are also accredited by one of the approved national accreditation bodies and registered with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) as a narcotic treatment program.   • Methadone maintenance
  • Buprenorphine maintenance
  • Medically supervised taper
  • Outpatient treatment called Six Dimensions Counseling
  • Individual therapy
  • Comprehensive chemical health assessments
  • Daily chemical education groups
  • Medical care
