Offers trainings and conferences on policies and innovations in the field of aging. It helps eligible seniors pay for services so that they can stay in their homes and provides services that protect vulnerable older adults from maltreatment and abuse. Offers resources providing information on assisted living and assisted living facility care, including the Assisted Living Report Card, which helps consumers compare the quality of care in assisted living facilities across the state. Working with others, it provides a wide variety of alternative care services for older adults living in the community, including: * Adult companion services * Adult day services * Case management * Chore services * Consumer directed community supports * Environmental accessibility adaptations * Family adult day services * Family caregiver support services * Home care nursing * Home delivered meals * Homemaker services * Individual Community Living Supports (ICLS) * Non-medical transportation * Nutrition services * Personal emergency response systems * Personal care assistance * Respite care * Specialized equipment and supplies * Transitional services
