Description

Program that works on behalf of individuals and/or groups to make sure that they receive the benefits and services for which they are eligible MORE INFORMATION Advocates help people: * At the hospital * At the police station when filing a report and being interviewed * At meetings with the prosecutor or on court dates * By communicating between investigators and prosecutors * By filing for court protection orders such as an Order for Protection or a Harassment Restraining Order * By helping people apply for confidential addresses as needed (Safe at Home program)
