Home ownership program that offers financial assistance to make home purchases more affordable for those that meet eligibility requirements MORE INFORMATION Habitat for Humanity partners with families whose income falls within guidelines and are able to make monthly house payments, but do not qualify for a conventional mortgage. Homeowner partners purchase a simple, decent affordable house with 0% interest mortgage. Before moving in, the family partners by contributing sweat equity hours. Adults must also attend homeowner classes and provide a down-payment for taxes and insurance. The family receives support during partnering year.
