Provides information, education, advocacy and other services to people who are DeafBlind, their family members, allies and professionals. Provides programs and services geared toward increasing self-reliance.
Works to:
- Decrease the social isolation and close the information gap associated with DeafBlindness
- Provide a supportive place to share information and receive training about personal safety, financial literacy, assistive technology, peer mentorship, current events, and more
- Help DeafBlind people maintain a sense of community and make lasting friendships with other DeafBlind people
- Support the empowerment of DeafBlind people, helping them to improve their self-esteem and self-reliance
- Provides technical assistance which supports children and youth, birth - 21 years
