  • Participants must live within the city limits of Northfield
  • There must be space available in the program
  • Participants must be referred by an authorized health care provider
  • People who live at a site where meals are available are not eligible to receive Meals-On-Wheels

Learn more about this service when paid for under waivers in the Community-Based Services Manual. MORE INFORMATION Meals-On-Wheels coordinates and nurtures a broad network of volunteer drivers who deliver noon meals prepared by Northfield Hospital dietary staff. Services include:
  • Noon meal delivery 365 days per year
  • Meal includes meat, fish, or poultry, potato or pasta, vegetable, salad or juice, bread, milk and dessert
  • Delivered by volunteers
  • Guest meals available if there is space on the route and each additional meal is $7.15
