Offers cash or other short term aid to people in a crisis that is affecting their access to basic needs Emergency assistance can vary based upon eligibility and available funds. MORE INFORMATION Assistance examples: * City bus passes * Bus tickets to stranded individuals to return safely home * One-time rent assistance * Referrals to local and out-of-area homeless shelters * Vouchers for emergency or work-related clothing * Diapers and formula Individuals with qualifying needs will receive a voucher, not cash, for a specific amount written to a specific vendor.
