Substance Use Disorder Treatment

Eligibility

Adults (18+) who meet the criteria for a substance use disorder. Many individuals served by the program will also have a diagnosed mental illness and may be experiencing problems such as homelessness, poverty, violence, legal issues, and unemployment. Residential: All programs (except Kindred) are for adults (18+) who meet the criteria for a substance use disorder. The Kindred Adolescent Recovery program is for youth 13 - 17.

Application process

Clients may be referred to the program by a county assessor via completion of a Rule 25 assessment, or directly by the client's insurance provider. Applicants with health coverage through a managed care organization must complete a chemical health assessment through their provider and obtain authorization prior to admission.

Fees

Insurance (including Medical Assistance) or county programs can often pay for treatment. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Medical Assistance, county contract, private insurance (Medica, Health Partners, UCare, Metropolitan Health Plan, and Blue Cross), and private pay.

A program that helps individuals with drug or alcohol addiction. They assess a client's needs, develop planned interventions, provide services to help reduce or stop the substance use, coordinate services with other providers, and reassess the client on a regular basis. This program is licensed for Substance Use Disorder Treatment by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) under MN statute 245G. MORE INFORMATION Provides primary, relapse prevention and co-occurring disorders treatment services to meet the diverse needs of adults with substance use disorders. Huss Recovery Services is dually competent to serve adults with both mental illness and substance use disorders and is part of a larger Integrated Services Network (ISN) that includes Intensive Mental Health Residential Treatment, an Adult Foster Care program, and the Northside Community Support Program.
