Eligibility
A telephone that plugs into a wall-mounted jack and has a corded handset is recommended for the hearing test. The screening test can be used with a cell phone but it is not recommended.

Fees
The fee for the screening is $8.
An annual screening is free for AARP members.

Provides a hearing screening test you can take over the telephone. You listen to three-digit sequences presented in a background of white noise and then enter the digits using the telephone keypad.
This screening will help you determine if you need a complete hearing evaluation.
