Accepts waiver and county funds for respite services: Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI) Waiver, Brain Injury (BI), consumer directed, Developmental Disability (DD) or Consumer Directed Community Supports (CDCS) waiver funds may use those funds to pay respite weekend fees.

Respite provides care on a short-term basis for a person who cannot take care of themselves, and who is usually taken care of by a family member or friend. The service is designed to provide temporary coverage for the caregiver during an absence or need for relief. Learn more about this service when paid for under the waivers or the Alternative Care program in the Community-Based Services Manual. MORE INFORMATION Respite care weekends are available year round and are specifically designed for children and adults with special needs. How long participants stay is flexible, from a couple hours to the full weekend. Saturday only respite is available from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
