Application process
The public can report suspected abuse, neglect or financial exploitation of an older adult or adult with disability who is also vulnerable 24/7 by calling MAARC at (844) 880-1574.

The Adult Protection Unit provides training and education on the Minnesota Vulnerable Adult Act to the public, service providers, law enforcement and state agencies.
The Unit supports adult protection programs administered by counties and tribal nations through policy guidance, training, decisions tools, case consultation and partnership for outcome measurements.
The Unit also supports the Vulnerable Adult Maltreatment Review Panel. The Minnesota Adult Abuse Reporting Center (MAARC) is under this unit. The team also provides summary data on response for adults referred to MAARC as vulnerable and maltreated.
