Companionship programs provide volunteers to visit with people who are in the hospital, unable to leave their home, or socially isolated. Visitors provide conversation, reading or other social activities to help keep older adults or people with disabilities engaged. MORE INFORMATION Offers friendly visits by volunteers once a week or bi-weekly for socialization. Also offers short visits through a partnership with the Red Wing Public library where volunteers deliver and return books for homebound individuals.
