Eligibility

The only requirement is that the victim or abuser lives in Ramsey County or that the abuse happened in the county.

8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Application process

Call (651) 266-9901 from 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday After hours or on the weekends, call St. Paul Intervention Project 24/7 at (651) 645-2824. Please call to schedule an appointment. If you need an interpreter or cannot read or write, they will give you an appointment. Feel free to call ahead of time at (651) 266-9901 if you have any questions, or call the Domestic Abuse and Harassment Office at (651) 266-5130 to make an appointment to file for an Order for Protection. If you need an Order for Protection they recommend coming to Bridges to Safety at 8:00am or around 12:30pm. Give yourself at least two hours, possibly more. All Order for Protection participants are helped on a first-come, first-served basis. Provides supervised play and snacks for children from 12 months - 12 years while you are receiving services.

Fees

All services are provided free of charge. There is no filing fee when filing for an Order for Protection.

This program provides support to people in abusive situations and works to reduce relationship abuse, intimate partner violence and family violence. Programs may include crisis intervention and domestic and sexual violence education and prevention. MORE INFORMATION A collaborative of organizations that provides centralized services for survivors of domestic abuse, including: * Crisis intervention and personal advocacy * Legal advocacy * Legal consultation and representation * Law enforcement investigation and prosecution of offenders * Filing of Orders for Protection * Child supervision while participants are receiving services * Referral to shelter, permanent and transitional housing, supervised visitation, personal counseling, and other community partners * Enrollment in the State of Minnesota's Safe at Home address confidentiality program * Services are survivor-centered and culturally appropriate, safe space for LGBTQ people
