MORE INFORMATION Helps individuals and families: * Consumer credit counseling - including credit card debt counseling * Reviewing repayment options so you can manage student loan debt * Mortgage debt counseling * Reverse mortgage counseling * Collection debt counseling * Debt management plans Helps improve or work toward achieving financial wellness by: * Evaluating the current financial situation * Learning about debt management options * Finding a path out of debt with the nonprofit debt management plan * Consolidating payments, often with a lower interest rate to start paying off debts faster Confidential services are available Nationwide by phone or virtually. They also offer in-person appointments across Minnesota. Counselors are fluent in Spanish and Hmong. In addition, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation is available as needed.
