A group of people that meet on a regular basis to share their experiences and provide mutual support. MORE INFORMATION The Generation 50+ Group is composed of people who are over 50, have a history of homelessness, and who are low-income. Member-led support group, who set the agenda, choose programs, and serve as important links for one another to housing, healthcare services, community-building, and support.
  • Advocate for affordable housing, including issues in tenants' rights, public housing, and raising awareness of Transitional and Supportive Housing issues.
  • Advocate for more resources to assist older adults who are applying for Social Security Disability benefits and more resources to deal with the backlog of cases in the system.
