Description

Adaptations to your home to remove barriers for people with disabilities or age-related concerns. Modifications may include wheelchair ramps, grab bars, door widening, lowering countertops and other changes to make life easier and safer. Work can range from simple changes, like replacing doorknobs with pull handles, to major structural projects such as bathroom re-design. Learn more about home accessibility modification costs that are covered through waivers in the Community-Based Service Manual. MORE INFORMATION Offers accessible modification assistance, ramp installations and accessibility assessments for homes and businesses. Provides accessibility modifications and coordinates contractors for estimates and project completion. Examples of accessibility modifications include ramps, low-rise steps, grab bars, etc. Offers ramps for rent or purchase, including custom wood modular ramps and ROLL-A-RAMP metal ramps.
