A group of people that meet on a regular basis to share their experiences and provide mutual support. MORE INFORMATION Offers online support groups that connect you with other people who are in a similar situation. There are separate groups for caregivers, patients, and those dealing with loss. Support groups are:
  • Free
  • Led by professional social workers specializing in supporting cancer patients
  • Available over the phone, online
  • Group format where meetings are held for 15 weeks at a time and group members must register to join. After completing the registration process (which can take up to 2 - 3 business days), members can participate by posting in the groups 24/7.
