Eligibility
Minnesota Senior Health Options (MSHO):
- Are 65 years old and over and
- Have Medical Assistance and
- Have both Medicare Parts A and B
- Live in a county where at least one health plan offers MSHO
- Are 65 years old and over
- Have Medical Assistance
Application process
Contact one of the health plans available in your county. Older adults who already have Medical Assistance (MA) can contact their caseworker or team to check eligibility and enroll in a plan.

Minnesota Senior Health Options (MSHO) and Minnesota Senior Care Plus (MSC+) are managed care options that combine separate health care programs and support systems into one package. Members are assigned a care coordinator who helps them get their health care and related support services.
Minnesota Senior Health Options (MSHO) is a managed care option that covers all Medical Assistance health care and waiver servicers, and also Medicare services.
Minnesota Senior Care Plus (MSC+) is a managed care option that covers all Medical Assistance health care and waiver services but does not provide coverage for any Medicare services.
