Home ownership program that offers financial assistance to make home purchases more affordable for those that meet eligibility requirements MORE INFORMATION Several home purchase assistance programs are administered by the Housing Authority. Community Revitalization Fund (CRF):

• Helps homebuyers with down payment assistance through deferred loans and low interest loans
• Offered for buying an existing home or building a new home
• Available in Kittson, Lake of the Woods, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake and Roseau Counties

Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO):

• Offers the Minnesota Urban and Rural Homestead Program (MURL)
• Homes are available under a Contract for Deed with no down payment for those who qualify

Section 8 Home Ownership Program: Assistance with mortgage payments for current participants of the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program
