Eligibility

Waiver clients are eligible to receive meals in Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Scott, Ramsey, Washington and Wright counties. Please Note: Clients in Anoka, Hennepin, Ramsey and Washington counties not approved for Waiver coverage may qualify for meals through Title III. Please call the Intake team at (651) 746-8280 for more information. Title III clients age 60+ are eligible to receive meals in Anoka, Hennepin, Ramsey and Washington counties. Eligibility requirements are determined by Optage intake staff upon registration.

Fees

Waiver Clients - Spenddown or deductible amounts Title III meals for age 60+- Clients are asked to make a suggested contribution $5.00. Clients will not be denied meal services if they are unable to make a contribution. Please contact the Intake Staff with questions at (651) 746-8280. Private Pay meals are: $5.25 - Entree only option $7.25 - Complete meal option, which includes meal, bread, beverage and fruit

Description

Learn more about this service when paid for under waivers in the Community-Based Services Manual. MORE INFORMATION Optage Meals offers freshly made home delivered meals designed for older adults, as well as adults with disabilities. Optage offers the ability for clients to simplify their meal preparation and stay independent in their own homes. Clients have the option of a weekly delivery of ready-to-heat meals chosen from over 60 entree choices along with a supportive check-in upon delivery. Hot meal volunteers may offer to heat meals and offer social and physical support. Ready-to-heat meals are available for delivery in the Twin Cities Metro area and Wright County.
