Help Paying for Medical Costs - Gift of Sound Hearing Aids

Eligibility
Applicants must:
  • Have a hearing loss that requires amplification (hearing aids)
  • Have no other resources available including but not limited to: insurance, state Medicaid program, Veterans Affairs (VA) or vocational rehab, state or local programs, other charity sources
  • Total household income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines and demonstrate personal inability to financially provide for hearing health
Fees
No fee for children, $200 application fee for adults, ages 19 years and older.

Provides financial help to people with a health condition or disability so that they can pay medical bills or other expenses related to health care. MORE INFORMATION The Gift of Sound hearing aid program helps children and adults with hearing loss gain access to hearing aids. The program is designed for people who demonstrate a personal inability to financially provide for their hearing health needs.
